This next Best Group nominee also played a big part of the musical landscape in the last year. Maroon 5 had a hugely successful album, the fourth Best Album nominee It Won't Be Soon Before Long. This album held the Bi Award nominated and Billboard #1, "Makes Me Wonder." In my eyes, Maroon 5 remains as one of, if not the, most influential bands out there. Ladies and Gentlemen, Maroon 5:

Our next artist definately had a huge year thanks to her crossover hit, "Before He Cheats." Carrie Underwood, winner of American Idol and our fourth Best Female Artist Nominee, has had two huge albums, Some Hearts and Carnival Ride. While neither made the cut for Best Album, Carrie still managed to obtain 7 nominations, tying with Maroon 5 for third, on the strength of two hit songs alone.
