Kelly is the third and final American Idol winner to be nominated this year. She is also the final Best Female Artist and Best Album nominee. Kelly has had a rough year. My December failed to match the sales of its predecessor as well as the singles. Nonetheless, My December is a true masterpiece. She joins Jordin Sparks and Alicia Keys with 6 nominations.

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE, TIMBALAND, and NELLY FURTADO
Last year's big winner returns this year with 4 nominations, thanks to his collaborations with Timbaland, who is nominated for 3 awards, and Nelly Furtado and Keri Hilson, each up for one award. Justin and Timb were a force to be reckoned with, garnering many hits last year and ow this year, thanks to their work with Madonna. Both Timb and Justin are up for Best Male Artist.
