Interview with Jay

Once upon a time, a Bi Guy started a blog. He filled the blog with stories of his exploits and a bunch of stuff very few cared about as they were only here for the hot stories but still humored him. One day, the Bi Guy disappeared. No one knew where he went or why he left. What was he up to? Where did he go? What did he do? Why did he stop posting? Why am I here? All those questions and more will be answered. This is Alex and here is my exclusive interview with the original Bi Guy himself, Jay.

Hey Alex! It's nice to be on the other end of this.

Yes. I do hear that a lot. So, let's just get down to it. What have you been up to the past few years?

Well, as the readers may recall, I had a girlfriend back in the day. She and I married three years ago. We now have two kids, a boy and a girl. The boy is 3 and the girl just turned 1.

You have kids! WOW. I'm sure many of our readers our picking their jaws off the floor right now.

I know! It's amazing but true. My life has changed so much.

I can see that! What else have you been up to?

My wife and I left Manhattan while she was pregnant with our first son. We now live the suburban life in Northern New Jersey. I commute back and forth between Manhattan and Jersey.

You've gone from the big city life to the quiet suburban life. Why did you move and do you miss living in the city?

Yeah, I do. I love New York. I had a lot of great times there as many readers know and I cherish those memories. We felt it was better to move for our family. We both wanted our kids to have the quiet suburban life that we did. Plus the schools are better and it's cheaper.

What have you been up to professionally?

I think the last I shared with my readers was that I started a new more demanding job. I'm still with that company and love it! I'm in a different, higher position now but couldn't be happier.

I'm glad you are happy and things have gone so good for you. Why did you stop posting though?

When I started working at my current job, things were hectic and I wanted to devote as much time as possible to my paying job. I needed to focus on my career. There were a few times I though of coming back, but then family stuff comes up and it's hard to really focus on something else when you have two young kids to raise.

That's fair though. Things do get crazy. Did you miss posting?

YES! I missed it so much. There are so many things I wanted to post about. Every time something happened in the world, I thought it would be great to post about. I also missed a lot of confessions. We missed out on Britney's breakdown and comeback, the rise of Lady Gaga, the end of Lost, Heroes, Prison Break, and Ugly Betty, which were prominent shows in the blog.

Why did you decide to come back now?

This is all thanks to you. I know you'll be able to keep things alive when I won't be able to. Two people pretty much assures that at least one will be posting at some point. I bought you on to keep things going again. I also think that you will bring a different kind of experience to the blog.

Speaking of experiences, what's up with your bi life?

Well, there's been some stuff here and there. But I'll do what you did and save it for the confessions.

So your confessions will be based on the married bi guy living life on the DL point of view?

Basically yes. Stuff goes down out there. It's real. It's just that it's all on the DL as you said. I'll also share some old stuff I never got around to do.

Is the wife putting out? I hear that's an issue among you married men.

Ha! We have a good sex life. Is it as often as I'd like? Probably not. But it's good given how hectic things are right now. I actually don't have the complaints other married men might.

That's great! So, what are your plans? Can you share or shall we make them wait?

They've waited a few years. A couple days more won't hurt them.

So mysterious! Well I bet you have some kid around you screaming so I'll let you go.
