New Develpoments

So here is a quick update of something recent that came up in my life:

There is a new girl that has caught my eye again. She is not new in my life. I knew her back in high school and had the biggest crush on her, but nothing ever happened. We were always only friends. However, we lost touch in college. A few months back, I ran into her at the grocery store of all places. It turns out she just started a new job in New York and just moved here. I volunteered to show here around, which I did. I assumed we would just enter into friend mode and I didn't want to push anything with her since we are in fact, friends. We maintained that way for these past months. Then, she calls me Monday night to meet for dinner. I accepted of course. It was a normal dinner and I walked her home. We were talking and I asked what was going on with her if she was seeing anyone, which I did out of curiousity. She wasn't and she asked me the same thing. I said no. We were standing by the stairs to her door and she kisses me. I could not believe it. She was doing what I longed for her to do in high school. The wait was definately worth it. When she pulled away, I just looked at her, completely speechless. She then said, "Maybe we should help each other out with that." Then she walked upstairs. I was still speechless as I watched her. She turned around, smiled and said "call me". I can assure you all that I will.
