"The Kill"

I always knew Jared Leto sand for a rock group but was never really interested in their music. However, a friend of mine sent me this song without telling me who it was was. I was impressed. Thes ong is great and Lared sounds pretty good on it. The one drawback is the chorus which gets a little to shrieky but it's not too bad. I was pleasantly surprised.

I'll admit I never was a fan of hers. When she debuted 2 years ago at 13, I thought she was just way to young to be singing the songs she was. To me, it sounded unbelieveable. However, this time, it seems she picked a song that fits her and her age well. Off her upcoming new album, The High Road, "Too Little Too Late" is a very catchy song with honest lyrics. I think its a perfect song for a girl her age to be singing. She also sounds better than she ever has.


"Play With Fire"

With this song off her upcoming album of the same name, Hilary seems to have left behind her wannabe "rock" songs for more believable dance-type music. I think this is the best song she has done since she started singing. It has catchy lyrics and a fun beat. This is a change of pace that fits her well.
