Rant: Enough is Enough

Why is it that when young celebrities become of a certain age and they want to come across as older and more mature, they decide to whore it up rather than do something else of more importance?

My main grievance is with Lindsay Lohan. I have always been a fan of hers, especially after the masterpiece that is Mean Girls. That movie was released back in 2004. What has Lindsay done of significant importance since then? Not much really. Rather than doing a good movie, she has chosen a string of mediocre movies (Herbie: Fully Loaded and Just My Luck). On the music side, I was a fan of her two albums Speak and A Little More Personal, however, I knew they would never win her any Grammys or any sort of respect as an artist. What has Lindsay done of importance? How about party her ass off and getting drunk while shooting what may be her make or break movie? How about showing up late and pissing off your co-stars? Oh then, there's also the little thing regarding her and the exes of other ladies in her situation. She seems to always be after someone's guy, be it Paris Hilton's ex Stavros or Ashlee Simpson's ex Wilmer Valderamma or Hilary Duff's ex Aaron Carter. She has feuded with each one of these ladies all for some guy. Lindsay, I beg you, if you want to maintain yourself as a respectable actress, please stop. If you want to lose the fans you have left, please stop your crazy ways and try to focus, because I am getting tired of it.
