The Mighty Heroes

***WARNING: MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD!***

Wow, just how amazing was last night's episode of Heroes? It was incredible as usual, especially that ending. I really like how this show is moving in a fast pace with each episode revealing a great deal of information about the characters and the story. I like how they inject a bit of comedy with Hiro, he is hands down the most hilarious character. He believes he is following his destiny to save the world and travelled to the US with his best friend. They will be driving from LA to NYC so I think they will start running into the other heroes with I think Niki being first. Speaking of her, I still find her alter ego power a bit confusing although I've heard that it's supposed to be confusing for a while. Even her son Micah is supposed to develop powers because his father is allegedly pretty powerful. My guess is that his father is the elusive, serial killer Sylar.

Matt had a run in with Sylar at FBI headquarters and shot him, but the guy just got right back up before flying away. It seems to me that Sylar has some combination of the heroes' powers and has a connection to the whole mystery. Mohinder found his apartment yesterday with a bunch of freaky things and a map similar to his father's map with names and pictures of people from around the world. I think that there will be a lot more heroes coming. Over in NYC, Nathan became a jerk by betraying his brother in front of the press, claiming that he attempted suicide and was "sick". In return, Peter punched him before making out with Simone. She had just broken things off with Isaac, who had previously drawn a picture of them kissing.

And finally, Claire. She got stabbed in the neck by a sharp piece of wood because her school's quarterback tried to rape her. The final scene showed the stick getting pulled out and her coming back to life. And where was she? Lying on a table, having just had an autopsy. Her torso was completely cut open and her organs removed. Her reaction was, "Holy sh--". That was the shocking part of the night. Based on the clips for next week, it will be even better.
