Mystery on Heroes

Last night's Heroes continued the upward momentum that the show has had since it debuted. It was another great episode with a shocking ending and an interesting message for next week. Today we also saw the heroes interact with one another. It picked up right where it left off, with Claire on an autopsy table all cut open. She simply folded her skin back and got off the table as if nothing happened. It was gross but it worked. Her father continues to creep me out. It turns out he has Matt hostage. He is holding him captive with another man who I still believe is Sylar, aka Micah's father. All I can tell is that they were running some tests on him and that's all we saw of him for the rest of the episode. Dysfunctional brothers Nathan and Peter continued looking hot. Peter slept with Simone, who is a little confused regarding her feelings. Nathan continued acting like a jerk by offering Peter money to disappear because he dropped a few points in the polls.

Peter had been growing more curious about his powers so he went to visit Suresh, thinking he was still alive. He ran into a skeptical Mohinder who did not believe him. They then decided to go visit Isaac so that Peter could prove he could use the powers of those he comes into contact with. Meanwhile, Isaac, while high on heroin, painted a picture of Claire being attacted, among others we did not get to see. Some action took place in Las Vegas, specifically the Montecito Hotel, which is where NBC's show Las Vegas takes place. I thought that was a funny little inside joke. Anyway, Hiro and his friend arrived there and Hiro was helping him win some money. They also passed by Niki, who, in order to pay her debt, was being forced by Linderman to seduce and sleep with Nathan. Why? I wasn't too sure, I guess I missed something. Nathan's family seems to have some sort of relationship with him so he went to Las Vegas to meet with him for campaign funds.

Niki really seemed to like him and he liked her, although he is married. At first, she could not go through with it and left the room. That's where one of Linderman's guys got to her and threatened her son. She then switched to her other personality and kicked the crap out of him. She then said that she would kill him if he ever "threatened our son again." That was awesome. She then went back to the room and slept with Nathan. After they had sex, Claire' father and his assistant showed up in the room and he told him to take one of them. Judging by clips for next week, they took Nathan. Meanwhile, Claire convinved her quarterback attacker to take her home and let her drive. She drove his car while she asked how he could have done everything he did. He did not seem sorry at all and told her it as all her fault. She realized he would never stop so she drove the car over 100 mph and slammed it into a wall.

Meanwhile, Isaac did not answer the door for Peter and Mohinder so they took the train back. While on the train, everyone and everything froze, except for a concerned Peter. Peter looked around but only heard some steps. When he turned around he found himself face-to-face with Hiro! Who was dressed in military-style clothes! And spoke perfect English! He informed Peter that he was from the future and had a very important message for him. And then we saw, To Be Continued. In the clips for next week, it seems like part of the message is "Save the Cheerleader, Save the World."

My guess is Claire plays a big part in whatever it is that is going on, which is why her father adopted her to begin with. If they manage to save her from him, then Hiro's vision won't come true? I guess we'll find out eventually.

Heroes is my favorite new show. I'm so happy that it made the cut.

I like all of the characters but Nicky is probably one of my favorites.
