Nip/Tuck Stays Strong

So far this season, Nip/Tuck has been one of the show to deliver consistently better and better episodes each week. Last night was no exception. We got to see a lot more of Kimber, Matt, and Dawn, played by Rosie O'Donnell, who is hilarious and even sympathetic. Last night's plot involved poor Liz. First her kidney is stolen by a beautiful woman. Now it turns out that her remaining kidney is failing and she needs a transplant. It's nice to see that Sean and Christian agreed to be tested as possible donors, but then Sean chickened out. I was particularly surprised by Christian's sympathetic attitude with her. Speaking of Christian, we got to see him have more sex and more of his ass, but more on that later.

Old dude Burt had a minor stroke while having sex with Michelle, ew. It turns out the he had taken some Viagra, which Christian accused Michelle of giving to Burt without his knowledge. But Burt admitted that he took the drug himself. I'm not really sure if Michelle really did try to kill him because it seems that she is sick of him. Especially after she told Christian about how she felt spending the rest of her youth trapped with Burt.

Dawn Budge is always the highlight. Her ''Bitch'' shirt, along with the white trash pink cowboy hat, was hilarious. One thing that did gross me out was the flashback to her ''earjacking.'' It was a bit hard to watch. Something else that grossed me out was when Matt tried to put the moves on Kimber, but more on that later. I also just fond out that Rosie's Dawn character is getting a spin-off series in which she would star as Dawn. I'm not sure if that something I would enjoy watching full episodes of every week, but I do love her on Nip/Tuck. I hope they decide to leave her as a regular character here instead. She lightens the mood. The scene with Dawn and Sean at the genetics lab was laugh-out-loud funny. I loved it when she asked to hold her little mouse friend, saying, ''I want to bond with my ear.'' Anyway, the final scene with Dawn and Liz was actually quite touching, especially when it turned out that Dawn would be the one donating her kidney to Liz.

Finally we got to see a lot of Kimber again. Matt came on to her in the steam room as I mentioned before and she blew him off. But then she had sex with Christian after he showed up at her place. This was such a hot moment. I think he has so much more chemistry with her than with Michelle. This also gave us our weekly dose of Christian's ass. It seemed at first as if Christian actually wanted to get back together with her, but then he told her he was just using her for sex because she made him feel important. That was the first moment that I actually disliked Christian and found him to be a jerk. This made Kimber crazy and she called Matt and made out with him. Speaking of Matt, he did something good for once by offering his kidney to Liz before she decided on Dawn. This made Sean look bad for chickening out of it. Oh well, Matt still looks like a freak to me.

Next week looks really good. We have Conor's operation, which will cause a lot of drama for Sean and Julia.
