Ugly Betty Rocks
So how great was Ugly Betty last night? I thought it was a great episode. I am loving America Ferrera as our ugly heroine. She is so sweet and funny as Betty. As a character, Betty is so lovable. I like how she doesn't give in to the superficiality around her and maintains her almost child'like qualities. That was shown in last night's subplot involving her pink bunny that was a graduation gift. Someone at Mode stole it and kept sending her pictures of the bunny in compromising situations. Did Betty break down? No way! She stood up on her chair and declared that whomever was doing it would not break her that way. Last night's main plot was also amusing involving Mode's Book. I loved the fight between Betty's sister and the neighbor who stole it. That was hilarious. Also hilarious is Wilhemina and her gay assistant Justin who mocked Betty for personalizing her desk and the way he spoke of his trip to Queens.
Speaking of Wilhemina, she is so deliciously evil and I love her plotting against Daniel and working with the supposedly dead Fey. Speaking of Daniel, just how hot is he? He is definately a future hottie. I'm surprised I never discovered Eric Mabius before even though he was on the OC. Anyway, the show is such a joy to watch and I enjoy every minute of it. I loved watch Betty come through in the end. I'm curious to discover the whole deal with Daniel's father and Fey so that should be exciting.
