It was a little hard to think about one topic to focus on, today's In the Zone will focus on different things.
ARMANI EXCHANGE BLAZERS
Blazers have been around as long as the suit, but that hair-raising decade for fashion, the ‘80s, introduced the blazer as a single wardrobe item rather than as part of a whole outfit. Since the ‘80s integrated this style into everyday wear, we’ve seen the blazer worn in multiple ways, but one thing has always remained the same: No matter how you sport it -- collar up, collar down, over a polo shirt, over a dress shirt -- it’ll always look great with jeans. Armani Exchange has taken this widely known fact and made a collection of casual blazers with distinctive detailing that you can integrate into your casual-wear wardrobe, securing the blazer’s place as a fashion necessity rather than a passing trend.
Depending on the shirt you wear underneath the blazer, you can dress up or dress down any outfit. So, in terms of practicality, you’ll never run out of ways to wear your blazer or events to wear it to. Armani Exchange offers modern leather-trimmed and velvet blazers that lend a contemporary, up-to-date variation to your look. For a more classic guise, however, you have a choice of time-honored tweed and cotton blazers that will carry you through a slew of seasons.
Armani Exchange blazers allow you the privilege of a designer look and a designer label at a decent price. And let’s face it: They’re pretty snazzy pieces to add to your getup. When it comes to “wowing” others with your sense of style, your designer blazer will prompt quite a rousing response from admirers.
JACK & JONES JACKETS
The refined-yet-rugged military look is clearly a new ’06 fashion trend. There’s no telling how long it’ll keep strutting its way up and down the catwalk, but Jack & Jones will continue to deliver some of the best military-inspired outwear in the industry until the trend is long-gone. Any Jack & Jones jacket will add a little bit of flair and a pinch of style to your relaxed weekend wear. These jackets were practically made for denim, and any one you opt for will become a useful piece in your wardrobe solely based on the number of wears you’ll get out of it.
Your jacket may last you a few seasons, but who knows how far the actual trend will take you? My advice: Enjoy your military-inspired Jack & Jones jacket now as much as you can before you have to retire it for next season’s jump-on-the-bandwagon style.
This season, you and your Jack & Jones jacket will be living in perfect style-harmony. If you plan on embracing the military trend, a jacket from J&J’s new collection is a perfect way to display your flawless, up-to-date affinity for fashion.
DIESEL SHOES
The sleek, barely-there sole design has been a popular shoe look for the last few seasons, and since it doesn’t look like your footwear will be revisiting the mean streets of Thick Sole any time soon, Diesel shoes may be the smartest way to lace up this season. You can’t get any more practical than a pair of attractive casual shoes. Stylish and up-to-date, you won’t have any problems finding ways to mix and match your Diesel shoes with your weekend wear.
These sporty slip-ons and lace-ups are made from quality distressed leather and up the comfort-level ante with their cushioned footbed. Not only will they last you a while, but they’ll also fit right into fall’s fashion game. A stylish look with a contemporary design, Diesel’s selection of shoes adds some flair to any laid-back getup. They’re a good way to mix sleek and casual fashion, and they keep you looking like the urban hipster you are.
MOTOQ
The handheld is the trendiest thing to happen to accessories since big-buckled belts and skinny ties. Since the urban professional can’t live without his handheld, Motorola has designed the MOTOQ-- a sleek, functional device that’ll complement your swanky, uptown business look.
Not only will you look up-to-date with the technology game when you whip out your super thin and elegantly sleek MOTOQ, but you’ll also be up-to-date in your professional life. While it may be a neat-looking accessory to have, on the practicality scale, you’ll make your way through the day holding important numbers, e-mails and dates, as well as personal MP3s, videos (both downloaded and personally shot), a mini-SD removable memory card slot, and access to the web in one chic, high-tech package.
With all of MOTOQ’s top-of-the-line features, you’re likely to hang onto this lightweight handheld for a while. The vibrant color screen, ultra-thin design, high-quality speaker phone, 1.3-mega pixel camera, Bluetooth-enabled accessories, and endless gaming capabilities will definitely impress you enough to make the gadget a staple part of your life -- whether it be for business or pleasure.
The MOTOQ's appearance and features alone help it rank high on the scale of impressiveness, but once you learn that you just bought yourself the thinnest QWERTY device in the world (measuring at 11.5mm), that “wow” factor gets significantly greater, putting the MOTOQ in a league of its very own.

About the MotoQ... beware of crappy quality. I had three different Qs before I gave up and took it back to Verizon. Apparently Verizon doesn't have all those network people standing behind the Q.
