Adam Brody and past blog female hottie Rachel Bilson have called it quits. According to Life & Style magazine, the couple, who began dating in 2004, are parting ways.

This shouldn't come as too much of a surprise because it's been quite some time since Adam and Rachel have gone out together in public. Once upon a time, they were attached at the hip-hugger hip. Anyway, fellow O.C. fans, we need to take a moment to mourn this sad loss. Now the big question, of course, is what's in store for their O.C. alter egos: Summer and Seth. Rumor has it that back in the day, when Adam and Rachel first started dating, producers told them they'd keep Seth and Summer together forever even if the actors ever broke up. So that's actually good news for Summer and Seth fans, right?

In other break up news, onetime 'N SYNC member Lance Bass has split with former Amazing Race contestant Reichen Burke, less than five months after revealing their relationship. It's unclear exactly how long the twosome were together, but the duo first revealed their relationship back in July, when Bass came out to People magazine, retroactively breaking teenage hearts and silencing increasingly noisy Internet chatter questioning his sexual orientation.

At the time, the 27-year-old former boy-bander said he and Burke had been involved for "several" months, saying they met when Bass hired Burke as a real estate agent. Almost as long as they were publicly together, they were dogged with reports that their relationship was on the rocks. It looks like it finally happened.
