Hello my faithful readers!
As promised, I am here to give you a rapid update on what's been going on in my life so far. Let me just tell you that things have been going great. The new job that I have taken is simply awesome. Granted, I am much busier now than I was at the previous job but I just love it and feel happy doing it. I have embarked on several projects now that have been very challenging and even stressful at times but has left me completely fulfilled Everyone here has also been really friendly and I get along great with them. There are of course a few hotties that have caught my eye. One is my work partner James who is a very hot guy that I would have so gone for, in another time. The office receptionist Gina is also a young hottie. However, they are just now a mere fantasy.
This leads me to another major part of my life, Lisa. 9 months later and we are doing great. Like all couples, we have our ups and downs but our ups far outnumber the downs. We have gotten to know each other a whole lot and have been spending a lot of time together this summer. It makes me realize what a difference a year makes. Last summer, I had no direction and was pretty much just sleeping with any hottie that crossed my path. Now, I am in a serious relationship, have a great job, and am just happy in general. As a whole the summer has been fantastic (or major as Posh would say). I have hitting the beach a lot and I am gearing up for my vacation in August to Acapulco with Lisa and some friends. I really can't wait for that.
And now my thoughts on recent celebrity and entertainment news. First, my dear Britney. Oh Britney! I want my Princess of Pop back. Just as I was getting excited over the possibility of new music, this crap story regarding her botched OK! interview and photoshoot hits the news. Do I believe it? Some yes, but not everything. I do think she has some issues that she needs to get through, like everyone else in the world. Unfortunately for her, she is a public figure and her actions and behaviors are chronicled to the minute. We all have our crazy days, our sad days, and just plain weird days. But, we aren't in the spotlight. Next, Lindsay. Oh Lindsay! What is wrong with you? I want my Mean Girl back. The beautiful, red headed girl that had so much in store for her. Now, she may face jail time and another rehab stint. She is another that truly needs some sort of intervention.
In other news, who else simply loved Transformers? It was an incredible film and warrants multiple viewings. I myself have seen it twice. Currently, I am reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I cheated a little and read the book's epilogue. I didn't want anyone else to tell me the ending so I read it on my own. I won't give it away but I was extremely satisfied. I am currently on Chapter 13 and I love the book.
Now TV...Entourage is awesome as usual but I'm getting a bit tired of the Medellin thing and hope the move away from it already. The 4400 is also pretty good this year and is heading in a good direction. I have added two summer shows to my TiVo, Kyle XY and Eureka. Kyle XY is actually a pretty good and interesting show. Matt Dallas isn't that graet of an actor in my opinion but who cares, he's hot. Eureka is a great sci-fi show with an interesting story.
This leads me to Big Brother 8, which is to me a big disappointment. Most of the players aren't interesting. My favorite Mike was booted last night after making an idiotic move. I lost one eye candy. My second eye candy Jen, is a lot of fun and I'm rooting for her now. After her, I have Jameka who is growing on me more and more everday. Everyone else, eh. I guess I've been spoiled considering that this season followed two of the best ones, Big Brother 6 and Big Brother: All-Stars. I still have hope that things will pick up with Dustin as HOH.
Well guys, that's it for today. I need to go finish some reports. I hope you enjoy my little update and I promise some more next week. I'm thinking that a September return for the blog is very possible now. I will let you guys know.
So until next time. Be safe and have fun.
Your favorite Bi Guy,
Jay
