What to Watch

Every Tuesday, I will post my thoughts on what's good to watch on TV. Here goes.

BIG BROTHER 7: ALL-STARS (CBS, Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday 8PM)

I'm sure you all saw this one coming. I absolutely love this show. Filled with backstabbing, lying, betrayals, etc, this is the perfect summer show. It also features 2 of my all time favorite reality TV players, Janelle and Will. This season they chose the best palyers from the past 6 seasons to compete for the prize. CBS was smart in having the most interesting people return and leaving out the boring ones. The live feeds and chat provide a welcome distraction on those long summer days at work. You must watch this show!

ENTOURAGE (HBO, Sunday 10PM)

This has to be the summer's best scripted program. It features a great cast, especially Jeremy Piven as Vince's agent Ari. The writing is smart and witty and the actors bring their own individual flavor to the characters. This season has been superior to the last two as we watch Vince screw up his career one way or another. I for one am anxious to know how Vince's career will survive his recent outburst towards the studio executives at the press conference.

THE REAL WORLD: KEY WEST (MTV, Tuesday 10PM)

The Real World has rebounded from previous lackluster seasons with the Key West edition. They have tackled things such as eating disorders, physical abuse, and depression, all in the same person (Paula). The greatest Real World villain ever, Tyler, has made mincemeat out of nearly all the roommates, especially the increasingly annoying, yet hot, Svetlana. There is enough drama in two episodes that other seasons had in a whole season.

GREY'S ANATOMY (ABC, Thursday 8PM & 9PM)

The best show on TV is currently repeating its stupendous 2nd season on ABC. It is funny and smart. The characters are great, especialy Christina, Dr. Bailey, and Izzie, and the storylines are excellent. I suggest you catch up with this show before the thrid season begins in the fall.
