Madonna is set to have a concert special air on NBC next month. Apparently, the head honchos of the network decided not to air her performance of "Live To Tell" with her on a crucifix. This was going to be a huge ratings draw and NBC gave in to pressure and cut that part of the show. The surprise is that NBC and Madonna backtracked on their original promise to air it. I just find it incredibly pointless to cut that part of the show. What surprised me more is that Madonna, who always seems to be in total control, is actually allowing this to happen. What happened to her? Why did she just give in? It makes me wonder how much she got to give in. NBC, you shouldn't have given in and just shown the full show. I find it funny how things like this get cut while other more offensive things make it on the air. No wonder NBC is in third place. It's because of boneheaded decisions like this.
