In a very surprising move, country singer Sara Evans suddenly dropped out of ABC's Dancing with the Stars yesterday. On the same day, she filed for divorce from her husband of 13 years, Craig Schelske. The couple have three children together, all under the age of seven. Supposedly, she left the show to be with her children at this very difficult time. Although she consistently received less than enthusiastic scores from the judges, her strong fan base rallied each week, keeping her out of the Bottom Two. Her personal problems probably explain why Sara never really danced too well, her heart just wasn't into it. I am sure that this must have caught her fans, her partner Tony, and ABC by surprise. No word yet as to how they will handle her departure, although she will appear one last time on Tuesday's performance show. I really hope they decide to bring back Willa Ford, who was unfairly voted off on Wednesday night's Results show. It would make sense to do that so that the show continues running on schedule.
