Hey everyone, I am back for yet another week of fun. I hope you all had a great weekend. My weekend was fairly quiet and low key. I went out on Friday night to a club with a few friends which was pretty fun. I danced with a few people and had some drinks but I didn't get drunk. After we left that club, we went to another. There, I met a girl that caught my eye. Her name is Lisa. She was there with friends of her own. We bumped into each other on the dancefloor, which was a pretty funny moment. I offered to buy her a drink and we hit it off from there. It strange how I felt so comfortable with her from the start. She's really cool and funny. I did suggest we god back to my place but she turned me down. However, we echanged numbers and agreed to talk and get together some other time. I was intrigued by her.
The next day, I decided not to call her yet. I met with my friends for lunch at our usual place and I told them about Lisa. They made fun of me for not sealing the deal but I told them it was different with her, she was not like the other girls. After lunch, I went back home. Nick had called me to meet but I really wasn't in the mood so I decided not to. My friend Chris is moving in a few weeks so he called me because he needed someone to help him get new furniture so he asked me to come along. I decided to go since I had nothing better to do. He ended up getting a whole new living room set and bedroom set. Luckily, he had me around because his taste can be pretty bad. We all agreed to go out that night and had another club tour. No hookups, just some fun with friends.
The next day, I had to go to New Jersey because my family was celebrating my grandparent's upteempth wedding anniversary the usual way, with food. Of course, everyone congregated at my parent's place. It was fun seeing everyone again although I could have done without a little bit of the drama I witnessed. You know how it goes, this person doesn't really get along with another and any little comment one person makes can upset the other (I wasn't involved and neither were my parents, we were just witnesses). So after the whole ordeal, I hung out a bit more with my parents before they drove me back to the city. Waiting for me was my just returned roommate and a phone call from Lisa. We talked for over an hour and made plans to get together soon.
