Well, here we are, the end of Buffy week. I give you the series finale of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, "Chosen." This was a very jam-packed, emotional hour. The whole gang comes together to enter the Hellmouth and to face off against the First's army of Turok-hans once and for all. Buffy is armed with a new powerful weapon, the Sythe. Spike also has a mystical medallion that would be the key to everything. In order to stop the First, Willow creates a spell that turns every single Potential Slayer in the world into a Slayer, powers and all. Not only does this stop the First, but it gives Buffy something she has craved for the run of the entire series, her freedom. She always stated that she didn't want the responsiblity, she was "chosen" for it. There was not one fan in the world who did not know that after seeing that final shot of Buffy, smiling.
This episode is awesome yet sad. It has the destruction of Sunnydale and the Hellmouth, the deaths of Anya and Spike, Willow going from witch to goddess, the worldwide activation of all the slayers, and Buffy realizing she finally has a choice.
This clip is great. I love it when Buffy tells the First, "I want you to get out of my face!" She then rises up and cuts like 5 Turok-hans in half.
