The Best In Music

Ah, the Summer of 2006 was actually a pretty decent season for music. Some of my new all time favorite songs were released during that summer.

On the June 8th post of "Recommendations" I told you all about a few songs that I was simply loving at the time:

Nelly Furtado Featuring Timbaland: "Promiscuous"

Nelly made her comeback with a bang early last summer. "Promiscuous" was the first single off her new album Loose. The song is amazing and became an instant classic.



Paris Hilton: "Stars Are Blind"

Yeah, yeah I know. It's Paris Hilton. But you know that you must have hummed along to the song at least once.



The great music continued with my recommendations from June 16th:

Christina Aguilera: "Ain't No Other Man"

This was Christina at her best. Too bad her subsequent single choices have sucked.



And finally, to end the month of June:

The Pussycat Dolls: "Buttons"

This is another song that I just loved then as much as I still do.



Jessica Simpson: "A Public Affair"

I initially wrote this song off as a Madonna/Britney knock off. However, pretty soon I was hooked and now apprecaite it in its own right.
