Grey's Slows Down Just A Little

Last night's episode of Grey's Anatomy was OK. Was it as awesome as the past few weeks? No, but it's ok. Not every episode is going to have major revelations or surprising endings and I am ok with that that. As long as they give me those sweet, funny moments that they do, I'm happy.

So, last night was all about guilt. Izzie feels guilty about the $8.7 million dead Denny left her. Callie feels guilty about sleeping with Mark. Addison feels guilty because she's never told Derek that she had tried to make it work with Mark before she moved to Seattle. Karev felt guilty too regarding the whole Izzie/Denny ordeal. He confessed to Bailey that he knew what was going on but did nothing, so she did not need to feel bad for doing the same. Poor Bailey had earlier been nearly lynched for what happened by her fellow peers.

Derek and Addison finalized their divorce. Derek wanted to give her as much as possible. He apparently feels guilty, because he thinks he cheated more. Okay then. Meredith had still not told him that she and Finn broke up. Addison was also trying to tell him the truth about her and Mark. In the end, Addison finally confesses that Mark wasn't just a one-night stand, and Derek gets real melodramatic, saying that he wants Seattle and to never see her again. He then runs into the elevator where Meredith is. Meredith picks then to tell him that she's dumped Finn, and he can hardly respond because he is so upset with Addison. Poor Meredith looked so confused and heartbroken.

Callie was confused over telling George about Mark or not. In the end, he showed up at her room with some chicken and movies, but she tells him that its over. Izzie also decides not to cash the check yet but that she wants to be a surgeon. This happened after Burke gave her a verbal whipping for giving up at the top her game and not using the 2 good hands she has to save other lives for losing one. I'm glad she is finally moving on.

Overall I think this was an OK episode. I think we are seeing some moving on with the characters. Izzie seems to be moving on now. Addison and Derek are officially divorced and everything is out in the open regarding her infidelity. The next episode looks to be better so we'll see how it goes.
